Yuba County Department of Health & Human Services

Linda, CA

Design-Build, new 105,000 SF, structural steel and concrete tilt-up County/Community Building on a 16-acre site with a 2-acre retention pond. The building was built with the intent to house Yuba County Health and Human Services, Child Support Services and a County Public Health Clinic. This project has redefined how efficient and cohesive Health and Human Services can be and is used throughout Northern California as a showcase build-out for other Counties. The building exterior included stone veneer, plaster and prefinished metal paneling. The interior build-out consisted of an elaborate lobby design with skylights, ceramic tile and stone wall veneer, conference and meeting rooms, and open office areas. The project also included a medical clinic with (28) examination rooms. This state-of-the-art facility includes natural daylighting, recycled materials and other sustainable “green” amenities.

“It is a pleasure to give my highest recommendation to DesCor Builders for the outstanding planning, development and construction of our new building…Throughout every phase of this building process, DesCor was efficient, attentive to detail, and responsive to our needs. I would heartily recommend DesCor Builders to any other public agency or company.”
